Dr. Joseph “Joey” P. Speir, DMD
Raised in a small town in rural Mississippi, Dr. Joseph P. Speir brings a down-to-earth and genuine approach to dentistry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine.
He has pursued additional education beyond dental school to expand his clinical skills, including advanced implant training through the course in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, as well as dedicated mentorship and ownership training programs. Looking ahead, Dr. Speir hopes to combine his passion for dentistry with his love of travel by participating in dental mission trips and using his skills to provide care to communities in need.
Dr. Speir provides comprehensive general, restorative, and implant dentistry, with a particular passion for surgical procedures. He enjoys the precision and problem-solving involved in surgery, as well as the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a patient’s quality of life.
At the heart of Dr. Speir’s philosophy of care is helping every patient get back to the moments that make life enjoyable. Whether that means sharing a favorite meal, laughing without hesitation, or simply smiling with confidence, Dr. Speir provides personalized care focused on restoring function, improving oral health, and helping patients feel their best.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Speir enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, exercising, and spending time with his three French Bulldogs. He is a devoted Miami Hurricanes fan and a lifelong sports enthusiast. Dr. Speir loves experiencing the excitement of a game from the stands or catching the action at a local sports bar with fellow fans.
